It was with great shock and much sadness that we learned, earlier today, of the unexpected passing of our member Cecil Wilson; husband of our past Treasurer Geraldine Wilson.

For a great many years Cecil and Geraldine were active boaters on the Grand Canal and the full length of the Shannon. Many will remember their boat Cirrus. Our condolences to Geraldine and the family at this difficult time.

WILSON (Dublin) - April 2, 2013, Cecil James, loving husband of Geraldine, and father of Sarah, Nicola, Ruth and Damien, and Ceara, grandfather to Caoilfhionn and Clodagh, son-in-law Aidan, daughter-in-law Áine, relatives and friends. Sadly missed by his loving family.
