River Rats Calendar Launch

The concept of this calendar is to celebrate the men, their boats and the Waterways of Ireland. The models are members of the HBA and IWAI who, I feel, have stepped up to the challenge of trying something they have never done before and have ventured outside their comfort zone all in the name of charity.

Bodypainting is a relatively new art form in Ireland and I have had amazing fun putting my designs on living canvas with such fantastic backdrops as the rivers, lakes and canals on our gorgeous waterways.

We are proud of this calendar, and thoroughly enjoyed the process of bringing it all together. 100% of the money raised will be donated to the models’ chosen charity, Irish Cancer Society. We hope that as many people as possible will buy this calendar. I wish to thank our sponsor Yachtsman Euromarine and to all the hardy souls who contributed to this fun, exciting project – without your support it would not have been possible!

The calendar is about to go to print and we look forward to launching it in May. So come and share the fruits of our work at the official launch on Sunday 20^th of May at The Box in the Docks in Dublin Grand Basin at 4pm where we can celebrate our boys, boats and beautiful waters!
