Banagher Boating Club holds its 4th annual St. Patrick's Festival cruise on Sunday March18th. Boats will gather in the public harbour on Sat 17 of March. Boat skippers should call to barge 34M to register and collect schedule of events. We intend to start our cruise at 12:30pm on Sunday 18th and be back in Banagher public harbour at 1:30 for the blessing of the boats. Following the blessing of the boats we have music and Middle Eastern Dancing display with our usual fancy dress competition for adults/children and a prize for the best festooned boat. There will also be stalls with arts and crafts, brick a brac and refreshments.

We willl have a float in the Banagher Town Parade at 3pm and you are all invited to participate in this. The theme this year is "Mermaids, Mariners and Friends".

As you know our cruise is to raise money for the Offaly hospice. We all know somebody affected by cancer so I would ask as many boaters as possible to take part in this cruise and to show your generosity. Hope to see you all on the day. God bless you all.
