The normal time for the bridge to be lifted is 8am and to remain so until all boats are through.There is a tide window for entering or leaving Spencer Dock from the Liffey - likewise when entering or leaving Grand Canal Dock. Boats entering Dublin on the Royal Canal will need to be at lock 5 the evening before a bridge lift. Saturday 14th April (test lift with small amount of boats)
