Andy Maloney R.I.P.

Andy started working for the Grand Canal Company at the age of fifteen in 1948. With the closure of the canals in 1960 Andy tied up 77M for the last time, still a young man of twenty-six. Over the years he has been a great source of information on the history of the working boats, the canals and the men who worked on them. He has been a great friend to all of us in the HBA and he will be sadly missed.
