HBA members travelled to Tullamore via the Grand Canal for the Float to the Fleadh activities.

The HBA members present who arrived will also mark Heritage Week on the Grand Canal with Offaly IWAI, Kilbeggan Grand Canal Harbour Committee and HBA at the by now annual gathering in Ballycommon to mark the (dry) Kilbeggan line of the Grand Canal and to promote the possibility of the line being navigable at some stage in the future. The Heritage Boat Gathering at Ballycommon is listed in the Heritage Week activities at http://www.heritageweek.ie
