Saturday 19th July saw some HBA members and friends travel to Limerick City from Killaloe via Ardnacrusha, incorporating a tour of the power station. Great weather, calm waters and advance planning re lock times, tides etc saw the fleet make good passage as far as Custom House quay, (on the water side of the Hunt Museum and Revenue buildings in the city) for the weekend. The Limerick Civic Trust were on board 68M from Ardnacrusha in to town, and hosted a buffet and welcome event at the Shannon Rowing Club later on Saturday.

Many thanks for the hospitality to all involved.

Plans for the week ahead may include a visit out Sarsfield Lock to the estuary, updates will be posted here.

Any photos of the trip so far? Don't be shy, send them in to the website for inclusion here.
