Over the last week we have had several excellent reports from boaters travelling along both the Shannon and the Barrow Lines of the Grand Canal.

 

Aptly put by one boater as “the Grand is getting grander”! The water levels are excellent and the maintenance and dredging work carried out over the winter months are making a huge difference to boats of all sizes using the system.

 

Well done to all involved at Waterways Ireland. Keep up the good work, it is so appreciated by all boaters.
