Exploring the Rockville Navigation continues. On September 8th Cllr Luke (Ming) Flanagan, Mayor of County Roscommon, met up with Brian Goggin. Later with a companion, he descended the Rockville Navigation by kayak, from the 1765 bridge to Grange. The trip took a little over two hours. Brian reports “he liked it and hopes to get the Council interested in it”.
