The building of the Liffey Flood Gates at Spencer Dock, are depicted pictorially here. Photographs are by Mick Kinahan with some taken from Dublin City site Water Projects. The floods of fifty-five years ago are described in IT Floods of 1954 The Dublin Branch of the IWAI made a trip through the gates into the dock in Feb 2010.
