Barging in Ireland: Falling in love with Ireland's rivers & loughs.
This was published in the November 2009 edition of Blue Flag Magazine, the journal of the Barge Association. Many of us met Chris Moss, living on his Dutch Barge Watergeuse, as he travelled around Ireland for ten months in 2008 and 2009. Here he describes how you might take a boat across the Irish Sea to Ireland, the various waterways you can travel and some of the people you may meet along the way, including HBA members. Photographs of our heritage boats are featured.
